Mackie Thump 12 V4 1400W 12-Inch Active PA Speaker with Bluetooth
The Mackie Thump12 V4 active PA speaker combines a 12-inch woofer with Bluetooth streaming, SoundCheck DSP and a built-in mixer. Select a voicing mode for your application, control settings through Thump Connect 2 and link compatible speakers wirelessly. A flexible option for DJs, performers and events, supplied as one speaker.
Mackie Thump12 V4 12-Inch Active PA Speaker with Bluetooth
The Mackie Thump12 V4 combines powerful sound, Bluetooth playback and straightforward control in a portable powered speaker for DJs, musicians and events. Its 1400W Class-D amplifier drives a 12-inch woofer and a 1-inch Lavoce Italiana compression driver, delivering up to 129dB maximum SPL. Weighing 12.5kg, it is practical to transport between gigs, rehearsals and venues.
SoundCheck DSP for DJs, Live Performances and Monitoring
SoundCheck DSP gives you four voicing modes to suit the way you use the speaker. Choose DJ mode for music playback, Live mode for vocals and performances, Flat mode when shaping the sound through your mixer, or Wedge mode when using the cabinet as a floor monitor. These selectable settings make it easier to find a suitable starting point during setup.
Bluetooth Streaming, Speaker Linking and App Control
Stream music from your phone or tablet, then link two Thump12 V4 speakers wirelessly for stereo, zone or dual-mono playback. The Thump Connect 2 app lets you adjust settings and EQ from your listening position. Bluetooth playback can run alongside the analogue inputs and is included in the XLR mix output, making it useful for background music between performances.
Built-In Mixer for Microphones and DJ Equipment
Two XLR/TRS combo inputs accommodate your performance equipment, with a mic/line switch on channel 1 and an additional 3.5mm input on channel 2. Connect a DJ controller, mixer, microphone or keyboard, then adjust the input levels and overall volume directly on the speaker. The XLR mix output provides a convenient connection to another powered speaker.
Feedback Control, Music Ducking and Outdoor Mode
The built-in Feedback Eliminator helps control microphone feedback, while Music Ducking automatically lowers the music when you speak into a connected microphone. For outdoor events, Outdoor Mode adjusts the sound to compensate for the change in acoustic conditions. These tools simplify everyday operation, with speaker placement and sensible gain settings still essential for the best results.
A Portable Speaker That Can Grow with Your Setup
Use the Thump12 V4 on a suitable speaker stand, as a wedge monitor or above a compatible subwoofer using an appropriate speaker pole. Premium metal handles help with carrying, while the built-in limiter helps protect against excessive signal levels. For greater bass reinforcement, pair it with a Mackie Thump15S V4 or Thump18S V4 active subwoofer.
Sold individually. Speaker stands, poles, subwoofers and audio cables are sold separately. For DJ mixing and other timing-sensitive performances, connect your equipment using suitable audio cables. Outdoor Mode adjusts the sound; it does not make the speaker weatherproof.
