Mackie Thrash15v2 – 1300W 15" Powered PA Speaker with Bluetooth
The Mackie Thrash15v2 is a powerful and versatile 1300W 15-inch powered PA speaker designed for DJs, musicians, bands, venues and performers who need plenty of output without an unnecessarily complicated setup.
Its 15-inch ferrite woofer and 1-inch polymer compression driver are powered by efficient Class-D amplification, producing a maximum peak SPL of 129dB. With frequency response extending down to 40Hz (-10dB), the Thrash15v2 is well suited to full-range music playback, DJ sets, live instruments, vocals and general PA applications.
Four selectable Flat, DJ, Live and Wedge voicing modes make it easy to optimise the speaker for different applications. Choose Flat for a neutral response, DJ for additional kick and high-end presence, Live to emphasise the vocal range or Wedge when using the Thrash15v2 as a stage monitor.
The built-in Feedback Eliminator adds another useful tool for live applications, helping control unwanted microphone feedback at the press of a button.
For wireless playback, Bluetooth 5.0 allows music to be streamed directly from compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops. Two speakers can also be linked wirelessly for stereo or dual-mono playback, making it easy to build a two-speaker PA without running an audio cable between the speakers.
Straightforward connectivity includes a balanced XLR/TRS combo input for microphone and line-level sources together with an XLR Mix Out carrying the connected input and Bluetooth audio.
With rugged construction, protective grille, integrated handles, pole-mounting capability and a 45° monitor angle, the Mackie Thrash15v2 is ready for mobile DJ work, live performances, rehearsals, venues and portable PA systems.

Why Choose the Mackie Thrash15v2?
The Thrash15v2 combines a 15-inch woofer, 1300W peak amplification and 129dB maximum SPL with the flexibility of four voicing modes, Feedback Eliminator and Bluetooth streaming and speaker linking.
It's particularly well suited to DJs and performers looking for the fuller-range characteristics of a 15-inch powered speaker while retaining simple controls and portable PA functionality.
Powerful 1300W Class-D Amplification
The Thrash15v2 delivers 1300 watts of peak amplifier power, split between a 1000W peak low-frequency amplifier and 300W peak high-frequency amplifier.
Both amplifier sections use efficient Class-D technology with convection cooling.
The result is a maximum peak SPL of 129dB, providing the output needed for a wide range of live sound and DJ applications.
15" Woofer for Powerful Full-Range Sound
At the heart of the Thrash15v2 is a substantial 15-inch / 381mm ferrite woofer partnered with a 1-inch / 25mm polymer compression driver.
Its frequency response is rated at:
40Hz – 18kHz (-10dB)
48Hz – 16kHz (-3dB)
Compared with the Thrash12v2, the Thrash15v2 extends lower to 40Hz (-10dB), making it particularly attractive for DJs and music playback applications where stronger low-frequency extension from the main PA speakers is desirable.
Four Selectable Voicing Modes
The Mackie Thrash15v2 features four selectable voicing modes, allowing the speaker's response to be quickly adapted to different applications.
Flat Mode
Provides a flat, neutral response when you want minimal tonal alteration.
DJ Mode
Adds extra kick and high-frequency presence, making this mode particularly suitable for DJ performances and music playback.
Live Mode
Focuses on the vocal range, helping singing and speech project through a PA system.
Wedge Mode
Focuses on the midrange and is specifically intended for situations where the Thrash15v2 is being used as a stage monitor.
Built-In Feedback Eliminator
The Thrash15v2 incorporates Mackie's Feedback Eliminator, designed to help control the unwanted squeal caused by microphone feedback.
Activate the function directly from the speaker and the system monitors for feedback and suppresses it.
This makes it particularly useful for:
Vocalists
Live bands
Presenters
Stage monitoring
Schools
Houses of worship
Small and medium venue PA systems
Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Streaming
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 provides convenient wireless audio streaming from compatible devices.
Connect a smartphone, tablet or laptop and the Thrash15v2 can be used for:
DJ music
Background playlists
Backing tracks
Break music
Presentation audio
General wireless playback
The microphone input remains available while Bluetooth audio is playing, allowing performers to sing or speak over streamed backing tracks.
Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Linking
Two Thrash15v2 speakers can be linked wirelessly for a larger PA setup.
Mackie supports playback in stereo or dual mono, allowing music to be streamed to two speakers simultaneously without needing an audio cable between them.
This is particularly convenient for mobile DJs and entertainers looking to minimise cabling.
Mic / Line Combo Input
The Thrash15v2 features a balanced female XLR / 1/4" TRS combo input.
This provides straightforward connectivity for compatible:
Microphones
Mixers
DJ controllers
Instruments
Audio interfaces
Other line-level equipment
The mic/line input has a specified balanced impedance of 10kΩ.
XLR Mix Output
A balanced male XLR Mix Out provides an easy way to pass the combined audio signal to additional equipment.
Importantly, the output includes both the physical input signal and Bluetooth audio, making the speaker easier to integrate into expanded PA configurations.
Use as a PA Speaker or Stage Monitor
The Thrash15v2 isn't limited to conventional upright PA use.
Its cabinet provides a 45° monitor angle, allowing the speaker to be positioned on the floor and used as a wedge monitor.
Select the dedicated Wedge voicing mode to optimise the response for this application.
For conventional PA use, the cabinet also incorporates a bottom pole-mount socket with a tightening screw.
Rugged, Portable Construction
The Thrash15v2 features a rugged cabinet designed for regular PA use, together with a protective front grille and integrated carrying handles.
Despite incorporating a 15-inch woofer, the speaker weighs 16.5kg, keeping it manageable for mobile DJs and performers transporting their own PA equipment.
Mackie also offers compatible speaker bags, rolling bags, stands and mounting accessories separately.
