Mackie Thrash12v2 – 1300W 12" Powered PA Speaker with Bluetooth
The Mackie Thrash12v2 is a powerful and versatile 1300W 12-inch powered PA speaker designed for DJs, musicians, bands, venues, performers and anyone who needs dependable sound without an unnecessarily complicated setup.
A 12-inch woofer and 1-inch polymer compression driver combine with Class-D amplification to produce powerful, clear sound with a maximum peak SPL of 129dB. Its frequency response extends down to 45Hz (-10dB), giving the Thrash12v2 the flexibility to handle music playback, live instruments, vocals and general PA duties.
The second-generation Thrash adds useful processing that makes it easier to get the right sound for different applications. Four selectable Flat, DJ, Live and Wedge voicing modes optimise the speaker for general playback, DJ music, vocals or stage-monitor use, while the integrated Feedback Eliminator helps control unwanted microphone feedback.
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 provides convenient wireless audio streaming, while Bluetooth speaker linking allows music to be streamed to two Thrash12v2 speakers simultaneously in stereo or dual mono. The microphone input remains available while streaming, making the system suitable for performances using backing tracks as well as presentations and events.
Connectivity is deliberately straightforward, with a balanced XLR/TRS combo input accepting microphone and line-level signals plus an XLR Mix Out that includes the connected input and Bluetooth signal.
A rugged enclosure, protective grille, integrated carrying handles and pole-mounting socket complete a speaker designed to move easily between rehearsals, performances, DJ gigs and venues.

Why Choose the Mackie Thrash12v2?
The Thrash12v2 combines 1300W peak amplification, 129dB maximum SPL and a 12-inch woofer with useful modern features including Bluetooth streaming, wireless speaker linking, four application-specific voicing modes and automatic Feedback Eliminator.
It's a strong choice for DJs, performers and venues wanting powerful full-range PA performance in a more compact and portable format. At 13.9kg, the Thrash12v2 is particularly attractive when easier transportation and stage-monitor versatility are priorities.
Powerful 1300W Class-D Amplification
The Thrash12v2 delivers 1300 watts of peak amplifier power, divided between a 1000W peak low-frequency amplifier and 300W peak high-frequency amplifier.
Both amplifier sections use efficient Class-D designs with convection cooling, helping deliver substantial output from a portable powered speaker.
Maximum peak SPL is rated at 129dB.
12" Woofer & 1" Compression Driver
At the heart of the Thrash12v2 is a 12-inch / 305mm ferrite woofer partnered with a 1-inch / 25mm polymer compression driver.
The combination provides the punch and projection required for DJ music, live performances and general PA applications.
Frequency response is rated at:
45Hz – 18kHz (-10dB)
53Hz – 16kHz (-3dB)
Four Selectable Voicing Modes
The Thrash12v2 provides four voicing modes, allowing the speaker's response to be quickly adapted to its application.
Flat Mode
Provides a flat and neutral response for applications where you don't want additional tonal shaping.
DJ Mode
Adds additional kick and high-frequency presence, making it particularly suitable for music playback and DJ performances.
Live Mode
Focuses on the vocal range to help singing and speech project clearly.
Wedge Mode
Focuses on the midrange when the Thrash12v2 is positioned as a stage monitor.
Built-In Feedback Eliminator
Microphone feedback can quickly become a problem when a microphone gets too close to a PA speaker or monitor.
The Thrash12v2 includes a built-in Feedback Eliminator, activated directly from the speaker's controls, which is designed to identify and suppress unwanted microphone feedback.
This is particularly useful for:
Singers
Presenters
Live performers
Stage-monitor applications
Small venues
Mobile PA systems
Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Streaming
Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 allows audio to be streamed wirelessly from compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
This makes it easy to play:
DJ background music
Break music
Backing tracks
Playlists
Presentation audio
General music playback
The microphone/line input can still be used while Bluetooth audio is playing.
Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Linking
Need a two-speaker PA?
Two compatible Thrash12v2 speakers can be linked wirelessly so that Bluetooth audio is played through both speakers.
Linked speakers can operate in stereo or dual mono, providing an easy way to expand from a single-speaker setup to a two-speaker PA without running an audio cable between the speakers.
Mic / Line Combo Input
The Thrash12v2 keeps connectivity straightforward with a balanced female XLR / 1/4" TRS combo input.
This allows compatible microphone and line-level equipment to be connected directly to the powered speaker.
An input gain control provides straightforward adjustment from the rear panel.
XLR Mix Output
A balanced male XLR Mix Out allows the Thrash12v2's audio to be passed to additional equipment.
Importantly, the Mix Out includes both the connected input and Bluetooth audio, making it useful when expanding a PA system.
Use as a PA Speaker or Stage Monitor
The Thrash12v2 can be used upright as a conventional PA loudspeaker or positioned at its 45° monitor angle for stage-monitor applications.
When used as a wedge monitor, selecting the dedicated Wedge voicing mode focuses the response towards the midrange.
The enclosure also incorporates a bottom pole-mount socket with tightening screw for mounting the speaker on a suitable stand.
Rugged, Portable Construction
Thrash12v2 is designed for regular gigging and transportation, with a rugged enclosure, protective front grille and integrated carrying handles.
At approximately 13.9kg, it remains reasonably portable for a 12-inch powered PA speaker.
Mackie also offers compatible speaker bags, rolling bags, stands and mounting accessories separately.
