The Black SL-1200M7GEK combines its dark bodywork with the anniversary model's distinctive gold-finished magnesium tonearm, creating a striking contrast while retaining the functional layout synonymous with the SL-1200.

A special slipmat featuring the Technics logo in gold completes the anniversary presentation.

At the heart of the SL-1200M7GEK is Technics' coreless direct drive motor.

The motor drives the platter directly without the need for a belt. Technics developed its coreless design to eliminate the rotation irregularity known as cogging while retaining the fast response, stable rotation and strong torque required for DJ performance.
