We're expanding our range of Rekordbox dj controllers with the DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR.
Both feature two channels while the DDJ-RR includes Deck Select so you can switch between all four Rekordbox dj decks at the touch of a button.
The controllers introduce buttons for new features in today's rekordbox 4.1.1 software update, including Sequence Call, which lets you create and save sample sequences then play them back without touching your computer.
The DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR are also the first controllers to support PC Master Out, for playing master output through your computers' internal speakers or a connected desktop speaker while using the controller for your headphones at the same time.
Both new controllers come bundled with rekordbox dj performance software worth £99.
The entry-level USB-powered DDJ-RB is all you need to get started with rekordbox dj performance software.
The layout handles like a pro-DJ set-up with play/cue buttons, jog wheels and a VU level meter.
You can use the Performance Pads to trigger Hot Cues, Beat Jump, Pad FX and Slicer, plus there's a button for the new Sequence Call feature.
The lightweight, flexible controller supports PC Master Out and is perfect for use on the move - fitting snugly into the new DJC-B/WEGO3+BAG protective carry bag, available separately.
KEY FEATURES OF THE DDJ-RB
1. Controller layout mirrors rekordbox dj for native control
Mix instinctively with the jog wheels, play/cue buttons, mixer knobs and faders, gain pots, VU meter and dedicated loop buttons built to mirror the rekordbox dj layout.

Create sample sequences then call them up without touching your computer thanks to the new Sequence Call button. Plus trigger Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump and Slicer with eight Performance Pads.

"I stopped dj’ing a few years a go, having started back in the early 90s. A friend asked me to do a disco & classic house set at his wedding in the summer, so I was looking for something to get me back into the swing of things. Picked the Pioneer DDJ RB, as I really wanted to use & learn Rekordbox. I loved Traktor when I was djing modern house music, but it isnt great for djing older tunes or disco due to the drifting bpms. I never seemed to click with Serato either. I Downloaded Rekrodbox export whilst I was waiting for the decks to arrive and prepped some tracks. When the decks arrived I was litterally up and away within 2 minutes, I just had to enter the serial key to get Rekordbox to open up the full dj features. Rekordbox is fantastic, much better than Serato in my opion, a doddle to use. The controller is also fanatic at the price, nice and light, not as solid as other controllers or mixers, but not like a toy either. Would be perfect for a teenager just getting into djing, or like me someone getting back into it following a mid life crisis. Jog wheels feel like the real deal. Only issues fir me, the pitch faders are ridiculously small, if you are a hardcore beat matcher who thinks people who use the sync button should be executed by firing squad, I’d suggest looking for something else. I got a little impatient trying to get my mixes tight with the faders being so small, but Sync isn’t the enemy in my book, so I am happy. Still tying to figure out how to adjust then Xfade curve, as the volume on each channel drastically drops before you even get in the middle, I ended up deactivating it. Sure it’s prooabaly something that can be adjusted in the pretences. FX is decent. I got the Pioneer bag in the deal, saving £20. Order was made on Friday, was mixing on Monday. Got texts and tracking whilst parcel was on the way. When I phoned the store the staff were really polite and helpfully. I’m over the moon with the decks, I still can’t believe the quality considering they are the lowest budget pioneers, i got the full version of he software include, not a lite or intro version. Perfect for the price"JB / 2018-01-08 23:00:09
