The Pioneer DJS-1000 is a stand-alone DJ sampler designed to help professional DJs create unique sounds and phrases using an intuitive interface. With 16 multicolored step input keys, performance pads, and various performance features, the DJS-1000 is the perfect musical instrument for DJs to use in the booth to elevate their sets. The device allows you to create unique sounds and phrases in advance of your set or on the fly, sequence and loop them as desired, and improvise new grooves by syncing and mixing with tracks playing on other equipment. The device also features a 7-inch full-color touch screen that displays sequence patterns and instrument icons assigned to the performance pads. Additional features include live sampling, which enables you to sample input sounds and use them as independent tracks or as FX in your mix.

Step sequencer

The 16 large, multicoloured step input keys allow for easy creation of a new groove. The changing colors of the keys provide sequence information for each track at a glance.

Multicoloured Performance Pads

The 16 rubber pads on the DJS-1000 trigger assigned samples and loops with accurate velocity detection and multi-colored illumination. Varying pressure on the pads allows you to increase or decrease the volume of the sample.

Touch strip

The touch strip feature on the DJS-1000 allows you to adjust pitch using pitch bend and create drum rolls using note repeat. It also offers customization options for further creative possibilities.

Tap the LCD display to instantly access the screen of your choice:

• Home screen: View information on the sample assigned to each track thanks to the instrument icons and colours, which are linked to the pads
• Sequence screen: View the sequence pattern currently playing
• Mixer screen: Adjust the volume balance of each track

Accurate syncing with various external devices and systems

The DJS-1000 offers clock synchronisation with MIDI devices and a Beat Sync function that can sync performances with tracks playing on a CDJ or XDJ-1000MK2 via PRO DJ LINK. The tempo slider and nudge buttons allow for easy manual adjustment of tempo and beat position.

Live Sampling

Sampling input sounds and using them as individual tracks is made effortless with the Pioneer DJ DJS-1000. Sampled sounds are synchronized with the current sequence and can be instantly played in a loop for live remixing. The device allows you to sample any input source, including audio from a turntable via your mixer.

FX

Modifying the tone on the fly is effortless with the DJS-1000's FX feature. Apply effects such as reverb, echo, and filter to individual tracks, groups of tracks, or all tracks with ease.
