The DDJ-200 is a lightweight and compact DJ beginner controller with a pro-style layout and the perfect controller for first time DJ's who want to learn to mix. Within the free WeDJ for iphone app you have access to tutorials and Pop-Hint features which teach you about the DDJ-200 controller and help you understand DJ terms, the WeDJ app allows you to play music stored on your iPhone or stream music from Beatport LINK or SoundCloud Go+. Within WeDJ you also get Transition FX, these are professional transitions which make it sound like you are mixing the tracks. Within WeDJ you get 11 transition effect styles to choose from, you simply move the crossfader to the other side to smoothly switch tunes.

The DDJ-200 allows you to DJ with your PC/Mac and use advanced features in Pioneer's professional performance software, rekordbox dj. Simply connect the DDJ-200 and the dongle that comes in the box to your PC/Mac to enable. From late 2019 rekordbox will allow you to stream music from Beatport LINK and SoundCloud Go+. You can stream music from Tidal on an iPad or iPhone using the algoriddim djay App or stream music from Deezer on iPhone, iPad or Android using the edjing Mix app.

With the DDJ-200 you can plug in an external speaker, or listen via your headphones or your smartphone/PC/Mac’s built-in speakers.

The DDJ-200 comes with split cables to separate the audio, so while everybody else hears the main master sound output through the speakers, you will be listening to and cueing up your next track on your headphones.
