The Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2 is a professional 4-channel, 4-deck standalone DJ system built for performance-driven DJs who want maximum creative freedom without relying on a laptop. Building on the PRIME 4 platform, the G2 introduces MPC-style multi-zone performance pads, onboard Stems rendering, expanded effects, full-size 8-inch jog wheels and integrated DMX lighting control.
At the heart of the PRIME 4 G2 is a high-performance 8-core ARM processor with 4GB RAM, driving the 10.1-inch HD multi-touch display and Engine DJ standalone workflow. DJs can browse, prepare and perform with music directly from USB drives, SD cards, an optional internally installed SATA drive and supported streaming services via built-in Wi-Fi.
Creative performance takes a major step forward with 16 MPCe velocity and pressure-sensitive pads featuring 3D-sensing technology. The multi-zone pads enable multiple functions and parameters to be combined within a single pad, opening up new possibilities for Hot Cues, effects, lighting control and expressive live remixing.
The PRIME 4 G2 also brings onboard Stems rendering and playback directly into the standalone workflow. Dedicated Instrumental and Acapella controls provide immediate access to track separation, while Stems pad mode, Stem Level EQ and Stem effects allow DJs to isolate and manipulate individual musical elements during a performance.
Effects are equally comprehensive. Two dynamic internal Main FX modules provide more than 25 effects with toggle paddles and Favourite FX buttons, alongside 10 reactive Touch FX, Fader FX and four Sweep FX with dedicated controls on each mixer channel.
For mobile DJs and event professionals, Engine Lighting powered by SoundSwitch is integrated directly into the system. A physical DMX output provides control of one DMX universe with up to 512 channels without requiring an external interface, while compatible SoundSwitch hardware can expand control to a maximum of two universes and 1,024 channels. Philips Hue and Nanoleaf smart lighting are also supported.
Professional audio performance is provided by ESS ES9017S 32-bit DACs, with balanced XLR Main, Booth and independent Zone outputs. The Zone output can play a separate deck or playlist through another sound system, making the PRIME 4 G2 particularly powerful for mobile DJs working across multiple areas of a venue.
