Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 2DX DMX Haze Machine

Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 2DX Water-Based DMX Haze Machine

The Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 2DX creates a fine haze that makes moving-head beams, scanners and other lighting effects visible across a room. After its three-minute warm-up, it can produce continuous haze, making it useful when you want beams to stay visible throughout a DJ set, stage performance or programmed lighting sequence.

Direct the haze towards your lighting

Angle the nozzle towards the area you want to cover and choose a blower speed to suit the setup. That gives you more control over where the haze travels when the machine is tucked beside a DJ booth or placed at the side of a stage. Start with a light haze and adjust it once you can see how the room's airflow carries it.

Run it from the machine, the timer remote or DMX

Use the onboard digital display for stand-alone operation, or use the supplied wired timer remote when you want haze at intervals without programming a lighting desk. For a programmed show, connect it to your lighting rig via 3-pin DMX and address it from the display. The remote has a 4.6 m cable, so you can operate it from nearby while keeping the machine out of the way.

Refill with compatible Chauvet haze fluid

The 2-litre tank has a low-fluid indicator, and the machine shuts down when the tank is empty. For refills, use Chauvet HFDJ5 High Performance Haze Fluid (5L), which Chauvet lists as compatible with the Hurricane Haze 2DX.

Who Is This For?

• Mobile DJs: Use the timer remote to keep lighting beams visible during a set without adding a separate lighting controller.
• Lighting operators: Use DMX to bring haze into programmed cues and aim the nozzle towards the part of the stage where you need it.
• Venues and production teams: Choose the 2DX when you want a fine, continuous haze and control over its direction from a machine placed at the side of the room or stage.

Which Hurricane haze machine should you choose?

Want bubbles as part of the effect?

• Chauvet Hurricane Bubble Haze LT – A compact combination effects machine for parties and events where bubbles are part of the show.
