The XDJ-AZ offers built-in Wi-Fi and broad support for multiple media types, giving DJs the flexibility to perform their way. With rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you can access your cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the unit, including the latest playlists, Hot Cue data, and performance updates. This seamless integration lets you prepare, manage, and perform your sets entirely from a single all-in-one system, enhancing efficiency and convenience.
Note: A subscription to the rekordbox Creative or Professional plan, or the Cloud Option, is required to use rekordbox CloudDirectPlay.
Device and DJ application compatibility
The XDJ-AZ offers wide compatibility with multiple devices and DJ software, giving you the freedom to perform your way. Play directly from USB drives or connect a PC, Mac, or mobile device to access your music library. A USB Type-C port supports rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro with no subscription required. Built-in Wi-Fi with rekordbox Link Export also allows wireless access to tracks stored on your computer or mobile device.
Note: Wired Link Export is not supported on rekordbox for Android.
StreamingDirectPlay Compatibility
The XDJ-AZ supports StreamingDirectPlay, allowing DJs to play tracks directly from Beatport’s extensive dance music library and up-to-date genre-specific playlists. Every track comes with detailed analysis data, including waveform, BPM, and grid information, making it easier than ever to mix fresh and diverse music into your sets.
Note: A subscription to the Beatport Streaming Professional or Advanced plan is required to use StreamingDirectPlay on the XDJ-AZ.
Direct Apple Music Access with StreamingDirectPlay
With StreamingDirectPlay, you can access Apple Music directly from the XDJ-AZ. Load tracks and playlists straight from the streaming service, complete with automatic BPM and grid analysis for seamless mixing. On-screen waveforms provide clear visual feedback, making beatmatching intuitive and precise so you can create smooth, dynamic DJ sets with ease.
StreamingDirectPlay on the XDJ-AZ can be used without a rekordbox subscription.

The XDJ-AZ features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen that enhances both visibility and control. It can display up to 13 tracks at once—an upgrade from the 8 shown on the XDJ-XZ—making it easier to browse and select music quickly. Advanced features include Playlist Bank for storing up to four playlists for fast access, Touch Preview to listen to tracks without loading them, and Touch Cue to preview upcoming sections of a playing track. You can also view the status of Performance Pads and Beat FX simultaneously, giving you the key information you need for smooth and confident performances.
